I love receiving enquiries about one off commissions and have produced a huge range of bespoke creations over the years! From jewellery to go perfectly with that special outfit or a wall art piece to match the colours of your wall paper, to new garden sculptures or uniquely themed gifts for loved ones at Christmas. Below you’ll see a couple of examples and I’ve also written a little blog post about my process and how I like to work with you to create something truly fabulous to your own brief (and budget).
If you have an idea of your own, no matter how big or small, and would like to enquire about the options available, just get in touch via the form at the bottom of the page. It can’t hurt to ask, there’s no commitment…. but I do love a challenge!
Box frame glass artwork commission for Angela, December 2020
“I wanted to buy my partner a unique present, but was struggling for inspiration when I remembered Stevie’s work. We had visited her studio together the previous year and I recalled a piece of work that he had particularly liked. I decided to get in touch with Stevie.
Within a few hours of initially contacting Stevie, we had agreed a budget and I had provided her with a few images as inspiration for the colours and content of the piece and she took it from there.
We communicated mostly via e-mail. Every few days Stevie updated me with how she was getting on including photos to make sure everything was going to plan and allow me to ‘sign off’ each stage. Throughout the process, I felt able to be honest and gave feedback to make sure the final piece was perfect. And it was!
Although this was my first commission, the process was stress-free and easy. Stevie gave me the confidence to know it won’t be my last. So if you’re in two minds, I’d say just go for it!”
Medium bowl form commission for Paul, January 2021
The client wanted unique and personalised birthday gift inspired by the Scottish Flag.
“She has opened it and loved it, the hand written note and stars inside the packaging made a nice touch, so thank you. Again thank you… amazing!”
