Description
The more I work with glass, and find the intrinsic processes, the more I dive deep into the visual effects, colour combinations and forms which make me truly happy. I am influenced by the environment and views I see, my own surroundings, the photos I take while out and about and my interpretation of these environments into a fused glass form.
Inspired by the shimmering waters, the layers of colours and dichroic glass, represent waves of the ocean views enjoyed on a holiday in the Maldives, This is the first, and currently only, square dish form. I am pleased and hole to make more in varying colours, layouts. This highly decorative bowl looks stunning with beams of light play with the surface detail, or cast colourful shadows. Please get in touch if you would like to see photos or videos for this piece before purchasing or to commission a piece in other colours, shapes or sizes.
A key theme running through my arts practise is exploring ways for us to slow down, encouraging us all to take a closer look at our surroundings, to appreciate the little things in life.
Size: Approximately 16cm x 4cm deep.
Commission for other colourways, sizes and shapes are welcome. Just get in touch.
