I love to create wearable art, especially one off statement necklaces with layers of colour and plenty of sparkle, all hand finished with Sterling Silver details. More of an Artwork than my other makes, each unique piece is influenced by the things I see, my surroundings, the photos I take while out and about and my interpretation of the environment into a fused glass form.
Tones of plum, turquoise and seas blue. Inspired by the shimmering fish and coral forms I enjoyed while snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of the Maldives. This is the last one of three using the same form, but with different shimmering tones of glass. A key theme running through my arts practise is exploring ways for us to slow down, encouraging us all to take a closer look at our surroundings, to appreciate the little things in life.
Size: Approximately 9cm wide by 6cm. Sterling Silver chain is approx 16inch but has an extra section for slight adjustments. The piece is designed to sit just below the collar bone.
